Afterglow 2002 - A Night of Many Awards...

Uncle Dan + Aunt Rose, winners of this year's Horse Shoe Competition. Seconds later, Uncle Dan had to dart away to feed the reindeer.

Gary + Grandma vs. Uncle Dan + Aunt Rose - The Ultimate Horse Shoe Showdown, complete with a battle to the death, only without the dying part. Sadly, Gary and Grandma suffered defeat. I think I know why - take a look at Gary's face in this picture - his heart's just not in the game.

Like I needed a picture of this to remind me of that harrowing day. The first and only "Shock" Award was given to me, despite my best wishes. Reminded me of my Grade School and High School years when I would stand up in front of a crowd and they would do nothing but make fun of me..

The other teams, whose names I don't remember after suffering some memory loss shortly after my untimely and unprecedented loss in the tug-of-war. An apology will be issued from the staff of Pookon's Ill Stuff.

Now that we're all cheerful, a team picture is taken. Team Pookon now is immortalized on Pookon.com.

Me telling my team to cheer up, even though we got third place. It's ok though, team Pookon is about having fun, no matter what place you land in.
