Afterglow 2006 - Brewers Game

At the time, Joseph Kanzleiter had yet to become the Joey Kanz that we all know and love. He was clean shaven, working a real person job, and was drinking soda because he was under 21. Now he sports a wicked beard/mustache (depending on the week), works at Burger King at the UWM Union, and he drinks legally at many of the fine establishments around town. Now that's the Joey Kanz that I love.

The tickets that we won from Miller were in section 345 on the exclusive and expensive club level. At $35 a pop, these tickets are some of the most pricey seats in the house. Since they were free, I didn't have to worry about picking up the tab. I did however, have to worry about being seen by my boss. See, I work on the club level and I had requested off of work for this game because I would be out of town. She didn't see me, and I got away Scott-free.

My friends and I like to frequent Steny's Bar and Grill on 2nd and National, mostly because my good friend and former roommate Brodey works there as a bartender. Brodey gives us some good beer specials, but Steny's also does offer some sweet deals from time to time. On Tuesday nights during Brewer away games, they have Miller Beer specials and $1 hot dogs. On one such night, Miller representatives were at the bar giving away free Brewers tickets and passes to the Miller tailgating area in the parking lot. These pictures already let the cat out of the bag, so it is no surprise to you when I say that I won 3 tickets to the game and 3 passes to the tailgate section. We also had free a free parking pass, which along with the free beer, free food, and free tickets made this a ridiculously inexpensive day. It was the perfect end to my vacation that always includes ludicrous spending on booze, gambling and fireworks. I had to tack these pictures on to the end of my Afterglow 2006 vacation, because I know that audiences love a happy ending.
