Afterglow 2006 - Day 8 |
The fist picture featured a Reck/McKissick combination, so it was no surprise when these two got together for another one. Both of them are almost too goofy to occupy the same space, as goofiness was just spilling from the overflowing cup of silliness. Luckily they only stood together for the picture, or else we would have a problem. |
The cousins sure have grown over the years. The cousins, parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents are well aware that we outgrew Nana's couch years ago (although we still try to fit all 9 of us on there every Christmas) but we still haven't outgrown Cabin #2's dock. Until we do, we will continue to take yearly pictures there. |
It was time for Rick, Maria, Susie and Tommy to stand on the dock and pretend like they get along with each other. Of course I joke around (God has blessed with me a sense of humor); these people really do enjoy the company of each other and are a happy family. |
We added Janelle, Faith and Stacy's friend (whose name is withheld for personal reasons, mostly because I get drunk and forget things) to the cousin picture because they were honorable family members for the 2006 week at Afterglow. Don't we all look cute as a whistle? |
All week long, I had been begging for a photo opportunity with Carol, which for some reason made me laugh. She's a sweet person and has brought Gary, Beege and Kevin into the world, so I should be loving, not laughing. I have no idea what is wrong with me, and in fact, I should seek professional help to determine what's wrong with me. |
Every year, we are forced by the Moms to take a halfway decent family picture, so that we can gage how much we grow in a given year. We also use these pictures to see how our style (especially hair and clothes) changes from year to year. I know that I am definitely a victim of this noticeable change (see Afterglow 2004 for proof.) |
