Afterglow 2006 - Day 6 |
I'm usually open to trying new things, but when it comes to beer, I've got my favorites and I'm not going to change that. I mostly (actually almost exclusively) drink Miller products or beers with Wisconsin connections. The latter half contains such fabulous brews as Pabst Blue Ribbon and and any beer made by Leinenkugel's. |
As I sat by the shore clicking away multiple pictures, the kids performed a repetitive high dive show that included various jumps, twists, dives and of course, the necessary ladder climb. They must have kept this up for a good 10 minutes straight, but I eventually lost count and interest and started looking around the lake. |
Jenny has a long history of not jumping off of the high dive; something from her youth-filled past that she is trying to break free of as she becomes an adult. She proves the doubters wrong by not only jumping off of the high dive, but by also jumping of of it more times than anyone else on Day 6. |
Kevin knows that I often watch him and point the camera in his direction, waiting to snap a picture of him doing something worthy enough to put on this site. Since he checks this site more than any person on the planet (including me) he knew that this pose would someday grace these pages. Congratulations Kevin. You win. |
It was a mild day here at Afterglow Lake on Day 6. The sun kept on trying to come out, but mostly it was cloudy, breezy and a little cool. It was one of those days where you really couldn't do much outside because of the weather, except for walk around and admire the beauty of this place. These next 4 pictures try to show that off, but you really just have to see it for yourself to truly admire how wonderful this place is. |
