You've all seen the windmill and the sand traps that stand between you and the hole, but have you ever seen a life-sized Timmy blocking your putt? How in the world are you supposed to hit around that?

Kevin continued his billiard-style putting all of the way until the final shot. Since we weren't keeping score, I have no way of telling you if the classic or the billiard method is the best way to go about miniature golfing. Go ahead and ask Kevin, he'd be sure to reveal his secrets.

There is a horse ranch right next to the miniature golf + go kart track, but that doesn't explain why this gnarly goat was hanging out there. Maybe they had a petting zoo there. Maybe he got lost and wandered into this enclosure and they kept him as a pet. Whatever the case may be, I'm glad he was here and I wish that I could've kept him.

Tim ignored the green carpet that was the putting green and instead focused on the concrete path that was the walkway. The course layout was perfectly displayed for him, but he didn't care. Tim is dangerous; he lives, plays and miniature golfs on the edge.

Jenny dropped what she was doing and took the time to hang out with our gnarly goat friend. She tried to get it to eat some hay that she found, but it was more interested in chewing on the fence.

Home

Faith wanted to go miniature golfing, and we all overheard James and Janelle talking about it and "invited" ourselves along. They were happy to have the company, but they definitly were not prepared for the style of mini golf that we play. As you can see in the picture on the left, Tim was way out of the boundaries of the course. Normally, this results in a 2-stroke penalty, but we weren't keeping score. I didn't really care about getting it in the hole in the "their" idea of normal, but I did care about having a great time goofing around with my family on vacation.

The first 1/3 of this hole is a no-brainer - put the ball in the hole. Actually, that about sums up mini golf. The trick is to make it into the first hole so that you have a better shot further on down the line. Kevin chose to showcase his billiard skills and bypassed the first hole.
