Afterglow 2006 - Day 5

I think of Kevin as one of my brothers, but I can't help but mention that he totally got served by a real member of my family. Tommy straight up owned Kevin on the ping pong table. It was just fishing with dynamite; it just wasn't fair. But oh was it entertaining.

After spending a good amount of time working on our pong skills, we needed to take a cool dip in the water to revitalize ourselves + continue our week-long goal of swimming in the big pool every day. Kevin flexes the "guns" for the ladies prior to entering.

One end of the log that we play on near the shallow end of the pool is anchored so that it doesn't float away. Sometimes, for whatever reason, it becomes unanchored and starts drifting around in the Afterglow waters. That is when the Molines come to the rescue of the runaway log. It had drifted all of the way down to our cabin before Pete and Scott came to grab it and drag it back to shallower water.

Surprisingly, the day was already over, and we still have yet to accomplish anything. Seeing that we needed to end this uneventful day on a high note, we posed for the camera in a picture that can only be described as "majestic." If Afterglow ever decides to put out a swimwear calendar featuring some of its most popular residents, Kevin, Brian and I would be prominently featured and the calendar would not sell even a single copy. Not even Carol, Sandy or Kris (our mothers) would shell out their hard earned dollars for this piece of unwanted garbage. Regardless of the eventual outcome of this picture, the 3 of us still felt that it was necessary to strut our stuff in plain view of any passersby. I suddenly feel bad for anyone who happened to be in the vicinity of us while this picture was taken. My sincerest apologies go out to all of those people...
