Afterglow 2011 - Day 6 Thursday |
When the adults go swimming it's like some monumental thing has happened. See they don't sign a pact like we do so it's an event when they actually get in the water. At least one of them (Uncle Rick) does it right by taking a mug in the water. Why swim without booze? |
Jenny and Susie sat back on the dock and watched the Blind Canoe Race and I didn't have a problem with that because I did the same. Kind of hard to judge when you point a finger then have to look in the mirror. But there is no wrong at Afterglow. There is only Zuul. |
I love Jenny Reck. She is my best friend in the entire world although you might not think so because I address her formally by using her last name when addressing her. And out of the 4 Reck kids she's the best looking which increases her chances in the dating world. |
Kevin was fresh off of his Blind Canoe run so he was a little tired. I'm going to give him a pass for not looking his best in this picture. You could go blind from staring at his pasty body. But Jenny Reck looks good no matter what. Am I allowed to say that? I think so. |
And then we go from the beautiful talk to this. Even now I struggle to find the words to describe what the hell is going on in these pictures. Kevin is obviously still feeling the effects of last night rolled over into this afternoon and Curtis is ready to rock and roll. Those two things don't often mix but you get one hell of a reaction when they do. Everyone gets excited and somehow in the outcome of that effect babies get made. Wow. |
Brian and Stacy decided to spend some quality time with their father and Kevin and Tommy couldn't help but get involved. Everyone needs and loves their Uncle Greg time. Some of us look forward to it and some of us Tweet about it. I happen to be one who does both. |
We always assume that we are all done swimming when we exit the water but that is never the case. We are merely heading back to the cabin for a refill on beverages so that we could go back for round 2 or 3. You can't keep us out of the water even if you tried my friend. |
Susie and Curtis decided to take a nice little lovers kayak trip into the middle of the lake. And some person had to interrupt their little soiree by taking a picture of them mid-trip. I'm guessing it was my mother. How dare she! Leave these two lovebirds alone damn it! |
You know what? Screw it. We're all beautiful. Yes, even Curtis. One might say that he is the most beautiful of them all. That's why Susie is marrying him. But in our own ways we are all beautiful. Even me. I just need to find someone out there who will be able to realize it. |
Some people sit around all day and appear to do nothing. Others come sail away like Uncle Rick. I didn't know that he knew how to sail. It's amazing what you find out about people just by watching. |
Pete was out there all alone on his island (or kayak in this case) and a lone figure in the background was Starting the Revolution. Who was that? Oh snap! It was me! For some reason I was all alone in the middle of the lake and didn't bother to use the Body System. |
While I was treading water out in the forbidden nowhere Kevin, Kelly and Maddie were hanging out in the hangout of all hangouts - the raft. There is no better place to spend the afternoon and they knew it. |
Look at Brian holding Kevin ever so gently. It's like these two were meant for each other and some cosmic intervention brought them together in LP connectivity. There was no more perfect moment than right now and we all just sat back and basked in the lovely glory. |
