Afterglow 2005 - Day 2
The only kids that would go night swimming with me were Tommy and Brian. The other kids went for a walk to go and shoot off some fireworks - I mean eat some candy. That is our slang terminology for lighting off fireworks at Afterglow. We do that to throw off the little kids so that they don't want to come along. After night swimming, we went in the hot tub, and were quite loud so much to the point that we were banished from using the hot tub after hours for the rest of the week. Thanks a lot little kids, they totally screwed us over.
So much energy was exerted that we needed to relax and sit by the fire. The energy level in children is truly amazing. I actually got tired watching these kids fight each other. My energy fell exponentially by the minute, so much to the point that I had to sit back and relax by the fire. Fire is amazing, and is one of the essential elements to life, so I make it a point to create and maintain fire whenever the situation presents itself.
I have to admit, most if not all of these shots were staged, and none of them took place during the actual games. Tim and I would discuss what we would do before the picture was actually snapped, then we'd review it and change it if necessary. We did this in order to create an awesome experience for all of you who view this site. There's no reason to check us out playing a normal game of tennis, so we had no choice but to spice it up with excitement.
Although this picture is blurry, I think that the people in this picture are Timmy, Kevin, and myself. I'm getting pretty good at guessing because most of the time I'm pretty blurry when I'm writing this commentary, if you catch my drift. Yeah I like to drink, big whoop, wanna fight about it?
Brian and Tommy engage in an all out noodle war. If you slap hard enough, these floatation devices can actually sting. They went at it for quite some time, and actually wore themselves out, which was great because then the kids would sleep well tonight...
