Afterglow 2005 - Day 8
The only thing left to do now was to drive home. Sounds easy enough, right? Not when you're nursing a week-long hangover and going on 4 hours of sleep a night. Sounds like a job for SUPER ROOSTER BOOSTER!
We stopped for some chow at a Rocky Rococo's along the way. It seemed like the best possible fit for lunch because everyone and their Mom (including mine) likes pizza.
When we got home we had to unpack the car before I could go back to my home. I had some spare time to hang out with the dogs, who were outside enjoying the weather. These pictures lead me to believe that it was hot outside, since both dogs were seeking the solace that shade provides from the sun. Gracie relaxed under the picnic table while Lassie preferred the cool concrete of the garage. I've given up trying to understand these beasts. I'm gonna let them do whatever they want to.
The delay in my posting means that many things have happened since the picture was taken. Our cat Gizmo died in October of 2005. In July (when this was taken) he was his old self - staring out the window trying to get outside to eat grass and hide underneath the porch. I sure miss that little guy, and I think about him every single day.
So that about wraps it up. As it stands right now, it's a little over 2 months until we'll be back at Afterglow again. I can't believe that it took me nearly 10 months to finish this installment of Afterglow fun. But the good thing is that it is done, and I can now focus my attention on other things... like procrastinating on everything else that I have to do.
See you soon, and thanks for reading! My plan is to get the 2006 edition of Afterglow up in half the time that it took me to do this years. That means by November 2006 you will see the finished product. I know you can't wait to prove me wrong. Bye bye!
