Home

We have several Afterglow traditions, ones that we would never, could never and should never break. One of those is watching the Price is Right every morning at 10 am with my cousin Brian. I make sure to wake up on time (waking up is a tough thing to do up there) and he makes sure to be at my cabin by the time the announcer invites the next contestant to come on down. This year our reception for the CBS station sucked, but it got better when Brian touched the TV and pointed out the window, so he had to sit like this so that we could all enjoy Bob Barker and his beauties. Afterwards, we ate breakfast and Tim watched Passions. I tried to talk him out of it, but Tim mentioned during the commercial break that we are not allowed to interrupt him while he is watching his stories.

Jenny was actually out of bed early enough for us to tell her that it still was morning. Jenny usually likes to sleep in, sometimes until mid-afternoon, and won't wake up until we wake her. We usually let her do whatever she wants, because after all, it is her vacation too. We get plenty of randoms in our cabins at all hours of the day, and today was no exception. Mark stopped by to see what was going on, and ended up staying and watching Timmy's stories.

Kevin is a regular member of our cabin, and often drops by unexpectedly. We always welcome him with open arms and never send him back home. It's a good thing too, because home is so far away and would take forever to get to.

James bought this chair from the Home Depot. It's a reclining lawn chair, and it cost something around $60, but it is worth every single penny. It is by far the most comfortable folding chair in the history of mankind.

Mom does crazy things all of the time. That's a part of her personality that people love about her. She knows how to have fun and doesn't mind being goofy from time to time. She does things and provides no explanation. Why is she holding a piece of candy between her fingers? What kind of candy is it? Does it taste good? Why is she so close to Phil? Why does she continue to wear her UW La Crosse sweatshirt even though none of her kids attend that school? Is it warm? Does it fit just right? Where is her UWM sweatshirt? WHY IS SHE SO CLOSE TO PHIL???
