World Series of Beer Pong 7 - Day 2

Home

I don't really enjoy watching other people play beer pong which is one of the reasons why I don't attend the Day 3 Playoffs if I'm not in them. But I did take some time to watch Bangarang (below), a team who is consistently good and would finish 3rd this year. And I'm in the picture of my friends Jose and Aaron playing so I couldn't watch them. I have known them since Year II and I look forward to hanging with them out here. The people make this thing awesome.

I'm surprised by how many people I know out here but it shouldn't be considering that I've been out here for 7 years. Peter is one of the figure heads of Southern California Beer Pong. He too has been coming out here for more years than he probably admits to his Mom.

At the World Series of Beer Pong you play about one game every hour. There are 3 groups and we were in the 1st one which meant that we played around the top of the hour. A typical game lasts around 10 minutes. If you are sober or adept at doing simple math, that means there is roughly 50 minutes of down time per hour. They try to provide other things to do (like that 3-cup challenge you just saw) or this beer pong video game thing for PS3. Hummel tried it but I was too busy resting and updating my Facebook and Twitter accounts. We all have priorities.

There he is! I was wondering what happened to Cousin Kevin. For the most part he was out checking out the sights and gambling while we were playing beer pong. Like I said, it's not a whole lot of fun to watch. But I told him to come and watch a few games just because. I saw this guy wearing this Honey Badger shirt (with the line made famous in the Youtube video) and I told him that it was awesome. So he gave it to me! Honey Badger does care!!

My buddy Ham (that's actually his last name) lives in Chicago but is from Phoenix. During the 2011 NLDS we were giving each other shit because the Brewers and Diamondbacks were playing each other but it was all in good fun. At least we both hate the Cubs.
