World Series of Beer Pong 6 - Day 3

The Strip looks so close from right here but trust me when I say that it is so far away. The entire trip from the Flamingo to In-N-Out and back probably takes a good 2 hours. That's a long way to go for a burger, but this isn't just any old burger. This is one hell of a burger.

I almost always travel alone, which is why I don't eat at restaurants I take it to go. But there is no way I could wait to eat this fantastic feast. Or wait any longer than taking a picture of it and savoring the aroma. Then I dig in like a starved hyena that just found a gazelle corpse.

And then there is the grandest lady of them all watching over the city that never sleeps nestled inside of Sin City - The Statue of Liberty. What a classy dame. Like all people that matter, she knows how to have a good time and to Start the Revolution. I've seen her in many incarnations and every time that I do I feel something in my heart and in my pants. America is one hell of a country and the symbol of our independence and freedom is personified by a chick. Hell yeah. If that's not forward thinking and playing to the masses (because everybody loves the ladies) then I don't know what is. America!

If this doesn't turn you on and give you a heart attack at the same time then you are not a red-blooded American. After eating this Double Double and Animal Fries I feel like I am dying. But it's ok though because this is one hell of a last meal. Nothing else compares.

You have to go almost all the way to the South end of the Strip and then catch a bus over I-15 to get to the In-N-Out Burger. It takes forever to get there but the reward is well worth it. I'm glad it is so far away because my body can only handle one trip there a year.

All the sudden it was night. How did that happen? Well when you sleep in until 11 or something, bum around watching TV, check out some beer pong and then decide to head out, time passes you by. I'd been out there for a few days now and I had yet to make the annual pilgrimage to In-N-Out Burger. It's quite a trek to get there, and I had to walk through New York to do it. Well the New York New York Casino. It's a pretty cool walk though, because there's all sorts of bright lights and a miniature Brooklyn Bridge.

I tried to persuade Hummel and Sara to come with me to In-N-Out Burger by telling them it would change their lives. They didn't believe me, but that's their loss. But they were out and about and we met up over near the MGM Grand and started the walk back towards the Flamingo. To keep pedestrians safe from the ever growing traffic on Las Vegas Boulevard, there are skywalks criss crossing the street. Not only do they prevent you from playing real life Frogger, but they give you a pretty sweet view of The Strip and a place to Start the Revolution.
