World Series of Beer Pong 6 - Zach + Geanah's Wedding

I'm pretty sure that I knew ahead of time that Zach and Geanah were getting married out here, but still I was unprepared for the ceremony. Everyone else was at least wearing a polo or a button up shirt. It obviously wasn't a fancy wedding, but it still would have been nice of me to dress up a little bit and at least look my age. But no, you know that I wouldn't do that. So there I stood in the back of church, wearing cargo shorts and a brewers jersey, drinking mello yello and rum out of a 32oz Burger King cup. That's the Iceman - keeping it classy since 2002.

Zach and Geanah dressed up in traditional wedding gear but didn't look really over the top. From what I know about them from the short time we have been friends, this is what they probably would want for a wedding - nice and quick but nothing too fancy. Well they certainly got it. And despite what you may have seen on TV or heard about a Vegas wedding, it was actually very charming. Or I might've been because I drunk.

I was in the back of the chapel drinking booze and tweeting. And somewhere in between all of that nonsense I managed to snap a few pictures. But the majority of the photos you see here I "stole" from the official wedding photographer. I was too busy being a goofball.

Dustin and Todd are friends of Zach + Geanah and they came out to Las Vegas for the WSoBP. So naturally they were present for the wedding as well. They must have gotten the memo because they were wearing some business casual attire. Just like at the office...

At the end of the service everyone in attendance was asked to make their way to the front of the chapel to welcome the new couple. Although this isn't what I expected to do with my time out here when I signed up for the WSoBP, I was more than happy to be present for this special moment in my friend's lives. Besides at the time I was drunk, so I would've done pretty much anything someone had told me. Seriously. I was really drunk.

At the time Hummel and Sara weren't engaged. That would imply that they are now. But they wanted me to snap a picture of them at the altar so they could trick their parents into thinking they were the ones who got married out in Las Vegas. Since it took me over 11 months to post these pictures (because I don't traditionally put them on Facebook) their whole scheme to fool their parents is a moot point. Oh well. But at least it was a good idea at the time.

I'm pretty sure that I mentioned that there were quite a few people out here from Madison that were friends of Zach and Geanah, so I'm guessing you were wondering why the chapel was so empty. We weren't able to get a hold of them, nor did we know where they were. They must have passed out somewhere and not heard their cell phones. Now the World Series does take a lot out of you, but how can you miss out on your friend's wedding? I hate to judge, but obviously my priorities are better order than theirs. Or they just got too drunk and made a mistake. But they did make it after the ceremony and were at least able to get in some of the pictures even though they missed the important parts.
