World Series of Beer Pong 4

It was another full house today, as beer pongers from across the country packed into the ballroom to do what they do best. The excitement level was high, and they were all trying to make Day 3.

I'm a big guy, and Hummel isn't particularly small (especially in the kids sized jersey) but we decided to stick our tummies out and show you what a real athlete's body looks like. I know I stole it from Will Ferrell in Blades of Glory, but it works in this situation.

I lost track of what was going on, and when I started paying attention again, I saw that Dan and Josh were playing a game of beer pong. Since they weren't competing in this tournament, I knew that this wasn't an officially sanctioned game. But they somehow talked someone into letting them play in the tournament area against another team, and it was just like old times when they dominated at WSoBp III.

Davis and Treichel played in a beer pong tournament over at O'Shea's, and they ended up winning the whole damn thing! With their win they got mad respect, and $100 dollars each. Not too damn bad if you ask me.

I found another guy who was all partied out, which seemed to be a common trend at this year's WSoBP. Some people just weren't ready for the big time beer pong competition. Shame on them.

So much random stuff goes on at the WSoBP that I usually miss how it began and I just randomly walk into the situation and start taking pictures. This was one of those moments. I have no idea why Hummel and Katie J were playing against Zen and Jim who run the Drunken Bear tournaments down in Chicago. I'm not sure whether this was a pick-up game or an officially sanctioned match, but it was nevertheless entertaining. It's always fun to watch people you know going head to head in a winner take all game of beer pong.
