World Series of Beer Pong 4 - Day 2 |
After our poor start to Day 2, it was becoming evident that Brodey and Balkman would be Milwaukee's only hope for sending a team to the WSoBP playoffs. The feeling was mutual amongst all members, although no one would readily admit it. But the day was far from over, and there was plenty of beer pong left to be played today. And anyone who has played beer pong knows that it's not over until it is over. |
We played against some jokers wearing matching Arizona Cardinals jerseys with the chick magnet team name We Pork Fattys. For every awesome team out here, there is an equally unawesome team here. I have no recollection of this game, which must mean that it is in no way important to me on the great game of beer pong. Hell, I don't even know if we won or lost this game. That's how much I cared about it. |
Some teams, like Casey and Lorge, and mathematically eliminated at this point. But even though they wouldn't make Day 3, they still wanted to win as many games as possibly. See, the competitive spirit never truly dies, even as the window for success starts to close. But they do have a CHBPL and an ABPL championship to set on their mantles, and that's nothing to hang your head over. |
These guys from One Cup set up an exhibit over by the Port-O-Pong dudes, and we only took a picture with their stuff because they told me to do it. Every now and then I do things that people tell with without question. Which is why I sometimes get into trouble. |
This picture was taken by a professional photographer. I "stole" it off their website because I wanted to. So there. The thing that I like about this picture is that there is only 1 way that you can tell who this arm belongs to - the retro Brewers sweatband on the wrist. Of course, this arm belongs to me. Who else out there would wear something like this to a national beer pong event? |
But in this picture we are mostly smiling, and unfortunately Kanz and I only smile when we are in a good mood. And we are in a good mood when we win. So using the process of deduction, I have come to the conclusion that we won this game. Or I could be wrong... |
