World Series of Beer Pong 4 - Day 2

The view from our window was very nice, and I often found myself just staring out into the tree covered oasis. I had always wondered what was out there, but since I have already been out there a few times, I knew. And knowing made it less fun and exciting.

Billy and Duncan wore suit coats over their WSoBP Staff shirts, which to me showed that this event just got serious and real in a hurry. No longer would we be playing in tiny halls and tents, we had reached the big time and the organizers now had to dress the part. But you can still have fun, as you can see with Billy's (left) coat.

I have the ability to play beer pong when I am sober, but most of the time I choose to get all liquored up before I play. Why you ask? Because I think too much. Beer pong is a mental game, and once you start over thinking it, you get inside you own head and start psyching yourself out. My method to stop thinking and letting the instincts and muscle memory take over is to drink enough so that I stop paying attention. So that is why I am rocking the Bacardi / Mountain Dew and the 40 of Mickey's at 9 o'clock in the morning. Got to start it out right I guess.

Regardless of their current standings, we all still came out to support Hummel and Katie J, because a win is a win, no matter how big or how small. Dan Lindsay (brown sweatshirt, director of Last Cup) is a fan of Hummel, and was there to cheer him on.

Since they didn't have the stats updated last night with our 6th game factored in, I had to wait until this morning to see how we stood after Day 1. We checked in at a very respectable 62 out of 414 teams. But that doesn't mean shit if we can't back it up with an equally good showing on Day 2.

Kanz was mixing Seagram's with Mountain Dew, and from the looks of it, it was going down awfully smooth. Kanz was drinking cause he likes to, he does need liquid courage to improve his beer pong game. That's what separates the men (Kanz) from the boys (me).

Stalvey's Rejects (Hummel and Katie J) enter Day 2 at 2-4, and although was gonna be tough to make Day 3 with a record like that, anything was possible. To have a chance though, they most likely would have to go 6-0, which is hard for any team to do.
