World Series of Beer Pong 4 - Day 1

The guys filming at the feature table were really great. I especially liked Alex (the dude I am talking to) who was the director of this project. He seemed to genuinely care about the sport of beer pong, and it sounded like he was serious about making this look legit. I know that he could have been faking it, but I believed that guy.

After our game, some guy with a real nice looking camera and a microphone stopped us and asked us some questions about beer pong. Some of the footage that he shot of Kanz and I made it online, and I was able to find it on YouTube. His responses were pretty standard, but it was pretty sweet to see Kanz on camera.

After all the horny dudes stopped staring at the pretty ladies, the tournament was able to resume and some quality teams were able to play on the feature table. Austin from Maryland (background in the black shirt) and Eric from California (foreground closest to camera) gave the crowd what they wanted - a good game.

I was ecstatic to play 2 games on the featured table until I saw the Fringles.com girls playing on it. It was then that I realized that they let just about anyone play on that table, so I shouldn't consider it an honor. Turns out you just need to look good to get on camera. After all, that's what got me on camera and in multiple publications.

After they got the eye candy showy games out of the way, the good beer pong games kept rolling right along. Tone and Neil played a well deserved game on the featured table, and they easily knocked off their opponents with a relentless display of beer pong skillz. Neil stayed cool and collected during the game while Tone got loud, ripped off his shirt and got all fired up. It's actually quite entertaining to watch sometimes. Kanz and I sat and watched, and for just a second, I wished that I could be as entertaining as Tone or as good as Neil. But then I realized that every beer pong player brings their own unique style and game to beer pong. And when I think about it, I kind of like being Iceman.

For our 4th game of the day, we were once again assigned to the featured table. This one wasn't nearly as hyped as the last one, but I do believe that it was still a very good game. I "stole" these pictures from the website lazyday.com, but I only did it because I didn't have any pictures of my own from this game. I do know that we only won by a cup or two, but hey, a win was a win and we upped our record to 4-0.
