World Series of Beer Pong 3 - Beer Pong Day 1 |
These guys were from Oshkosh and had won a satellite tournament in late November that got them free entry into the 3rd WSoBP. Casey and Lorge went up there to play in the tournament, but I had to work that day. I wish I could have had an opportunity to win free entry, but I'm glad these guys came to rep Wisconsin with us. |
We were trying to have the most fun as possible between games by hanging out with old and new friends. It was a little difficult, seeing as how it is hard to enjoy yourself when you are losing beer pong games. But we made the best of what little time we had out here, and I know the majority of people in the crowd had a great time. |
Despite losing our second game of the day, Kanz and I were in good spirits. We knew that we were too good of a team to endure a losing streak longer than the 2 games we've already lost. We need to stay loose and relax, and play our game, and we'd get a much needed W. |
I wasn't doing much to help keep his attitude positive after a few losses, but thankfully Katie J was there to cheer that big guy up. Something had to be done soon to make us think like winners so we could be winners. And it had to be done soon or else. |
Joe and I were struggling mightily in our 3rd game of the day, and were dangerously close to collapsing, giving up, and setting our sights on next year's WSoBP. Nothing was working, so Brodey (The Godfather) gave me some encouragement and advice and helped us get our 1st victory. That's why he's The Godfather. |
Thanks to us believing in ourselves (with a little reminder from the Godfather) we ended up winning our first game of the day. Needless to say, we were super excited (our faces show our true feelings) and it felt like a huge weight had been lifted from our backs. With the first one down, the rest should be a whole lot easier to come by. |
Dan (once again, in gray) and Josh (black) are great guys. Dan is directing the still untitled, still unreleased beer pong documentary, and Josh is producing it. I have had the pleasure of hanging out with these individuals for countless hours, and I can happily say that they are both truly upstanding gentlemen. My only problem with them thus far is that it has been over 1 1/2 years since I first met up with them, and I have still yet to see any footage from this beer pong documentary. They keep promising me that it will be out soon and that I have an important part in the narrative of the film, and that my character is one of the most real and likeable in the flick. I wish I could say so myself, but like I previously mentioned, I have not had the liberty of seeing any of the footage. When they do allow me to see the finished product (although at this point, I'd settle for a rough cut) I will no longer have any problem with them. And now I can end my rant. |
