World Series of Beer Pong 3 - Beer Pong Day 2

Christian partnered up with some random at the last minute. I think his name was Jeff. If it isn't, I don't care because I'll never see him ever again, so I'll just keep calling him Jeff. Christian needed a partner, which I thought was weird because he's one of the best players around. I don't know why no one would play with him.

The worst thing about writing the commentary for the WSoBP 6 months after it happened is that I no longer remember certain things. For one, I don't remember who these people are or why I took their picture. The only thing I can think of is that they gave me the remainder of their beer, and I am forever grateful.

This is Josh from team St. Anky's, which is a reference to Super Troopers. Not following me? It was the delivery company that the cops masqueraded as to bust the college house at the end of the movie. He's from Waukesha, and we met him and his partner Kevin at the Milwaukee satellite tournament prior to WSoBP 3.

I looked over and saw these two gentlemen wearing retro ball and glove logo Milwaukee Brewers shirts. I thought to myself, cool, there's someone else here from Wisconsin. I didn't know who they were, and I didn't take the time to figure it out. It's not that I didn't care, it's that I didn't feel like taking the time to make new friends.

The guys from the Winger's Team earned a victory by default (the other team failed to show up) so they decided to play the game anyway because there was beer on the table that needed to be consumed. They started off playing each other, then I suggested that Josh and I step in and give them some friendly competition. Now I don't remember a whole lot, but if memory serves me correct, Josh and I won the game, which was a great uplifting feeling for someone (me) who wasn't winning a lot of games.

Brodey was a little upset by his performance, but hey, life goes on. He still had something to celebrate, and it was right in front of him. In fact, it was on him. He was wearing nearly every Brodey's Brewer Fun Day Extravaganza t-shirt, and peeled off the layers as the day went by. He certainly was representing the event that he created and popularized, and we loved him for doing it.
