World Series of Beer Pong 3 - Beer Pong Day 2 |
I was quite a ways away from Balkman and Brodey (hence the blurry picture) because I was standing on top of the bleachers to get an aerial view. My camera has a tough time taking pictures indoors under artificial lighting from far distances. I think that there's a setting on it to compensate for the lighting, but I just never took the time to read the manual and figure it out. Even though the pictures are blurry, I can clearly see the look of disappointment on the faces. I can see it because I know exactly what it's like to be upset at your performance. |
It was tough to see Brodey and Balkman struggling to win. I have been friends with these two cats for a long time, and I feel like when they lose, I lose too. Relax guys, I'm right there with you. |
Dan and Josh went 4-2 on Day 1, but then went 2-4 on Day 2. A 6-6 record is admirable for someone who is new to the game, but admirable doesn't get you to Day 3. Nice job though guys. |
We played against two old dudes who were there representing their website islandfloaters.com, which are floating platforms with circles on them to hold the cups. The purpose of which is so that you can play beer pong in the pool. They gave us each a t-shirt (which I never wore) after we beat them. They were nice guys, and although I'd never buy their product, I'll give them some free advertisement. |
Matt's a real good guy, and it's too bad that he lives out in New York, because that means we only get to see him once a year at the WSoBP. He's been there since year one, and he has been a proud supporter of the Milwaukee teams. I have yet to make it out to his area (upstate New York), but if I ever do, I'll be sure to look him up and hang out. If not, there's always next year's WSoBP. |
