World Series of Beer Pong 3 - Beer Pong Day 2

Brodey came out to support us, because he knew that we needed all the help that we could get. He wore this Tobey Keith hat that he drunkenly purchased on a whim in the casino convenience store last night. He was quite proud of it, but I can understand why. There have been too many items that I have purchased when drunk that we not nearly as sweet as this hat. Brodey - wear that hat with pride.

Despite losing what seemed like a million games, we were still in good spirits for the 2nd game on Day 2. We were 3-4, and a nice string of wins could jump us up to 8-4 by the end of the day. I've gone 5-1 on a single day twice before (and both WSoBPs) so there was no reason why I couldn't do it again. We just needed to get our stuff together and get hot at the same time.

The team that we were playing against didn't put a lot of beer in their cups, so we had enough leftovers to make a man cup. It's a good thing that we did, because our opponents were intimidated by it, and kept on shooting at it. It certainly helped that we shouted and encouraged them to hit it so we could drink it. We got them good.

This game was won by us having a mental edge over our opponents. They struggled to hit the last cup, which not coincidentally was the man cup. We got into their heads, and celebrated the victory by drinking the remainder of the beer on the table. I took the pitcher, and Kanz did the man cup. It was sweet. And then we were 4-4.

I borrowed Brodey's Toby Keith hat to see if it looked as good on me as it did on him. I'd normally let you be the judge but I'll spare you on this one. I can rock a lot of things, but I just don't rock this hat to the perfection that Brodey does. Not many could.

I was a little more excited than Kanz was, but then again, I should be because I knew how important this win was. After a disappointing Day 1, we rebounded with a nice win that should help us to enjoy a successful Day 2. Time is going to tell on that one, but at that moment I felt like things were going to turn around for us.

Lorge and Casey got some sweet front row seats to cheer on Sam and O'Malley. I don't know how they managed to snag these in demand seats, but my intuition says that they just walked up and took them. Those sly dogs. Always coming up with sweet ideas.

We took the beer down like champs because we are champions, at least when it comes to drinking beer. I heard some people complain about the quality of the beer, but to be honest with you, if they weren't going to drink it, I certainly would. That's because it was Pabst Blue Ribbon, selected as America's best beer in 1883.
