World Series of Beer Pong 3 - Beer Pong Day 1

Balkman was just a wee bit disappointed about his play on Day 1. Can you tell what his record was by looking at him? I'll give you a second to take it all in. There's the look of shock on his face, and he's got a pitcher of beer instead of just a cup. Oh yeah, and there's him showing off his 1-5 record with his fingers. That one should have been a dead giveaway. Brodey was upset as well, and he disappeared for the night, seeking the solace of a dark room and a bottle of alcohol to drown his sorrows.

Katie J and Hummel had also struggled today, and none of our teams were putting on a clinic out here. We all knew that tomorrow was another day and that a good run on Day 2 could carry us into the playoffs, but there's no sense talking playoffs when you can't win on Day 1. The worst part about it is that we knew we were better than our records indicated, but it was now time to prove it.

We've been good friends and supporters of Mike and Baker from the Iron Wizard Coalition (New York) since the 1st WSoBP. I don't remember how we befriended each other, but we have been very vocal supporters of their play in these 3 tournaments, and they have returned the favor by backing us up. We do bring enough people with us from Milwaukee, but it's always great to have a few more bodies in your corner cheering you on. If they believe in me, I'm more likely to believe in myself.

Kanz was all partied out because he has yet to know the secret to handling Vegas. He was up all night at the blackjack table, then he played beer pong and drank all day. By 8:00 pm, he was all partied out. Kanz promised that he would go out to the Strip with me, but he was too busy sleeping.  I was willing to let him rest up, because we needed to improve upon our 3-3 record if we wanted to make Day 3
