Rage for Timmy III - The Bee's Knees - Day 2 |
The sun was hitting the tree in such a grand fashion that I had to go outside and celebrate it. I know that many people throughout the history of mankind have thrown their arms in the air like this before but I promise you that no one else does it for the reason that Jenny or I would. When we do it we are making an homage to Mario and Mallow's frequent use of it in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. I doubt there are many people out there who get it but that's what makes what Jenny and I have that much more special. |
When I'm at Afterglow there is 3 things that I have to do every day or else I don't consider it a proper stay - swim (which I've already done twice), have a fire (which Jenny and I did last night) and Rage on KK (which I had to do tonight on my own). In fact I would be flying solo on everything today because Jenny said it was too cold to venture out tonight. There is no one out there who understands the importance of the Rage and how we must put our personal safety and health aside to do these things. I wish that all of the cousins could join me but I was content knowing that I had Timmy out here with me. As long as I have him, I don't need anybody else. |
At this point I have exhausted all that I can say about nature and the beauty that it bestowed upon us while we were there that weekend. It really couldn't have been more perfect in any way. The weather was great, the colors were incredible and there was plenty of rage. What more do you need in the world? I certainly couldn't have asked for more. This was a proper tribute (rage) for Timmy. |
My Mom's birthday was on September 1st and she has more than enough material possessions. Although she appreciates things like movies, flowers and candles I know that spending time with the family is the most important thing to her. That's why I came up with this idea for this weekend and paid for the cabin. Jenny and I also made dinner on Saturday night which allowed Mom and Eddie freedom in the evening to do whatever they wanted and they chose to walk back out to Memory Point to visit Timmy. |
I will forever love Cabin #2 and I hope we never move from there, but Cabin #4 has treated us well over the past 2 days. Made me think that home can be anywhere as long as you have your family there. That is the most important thing. |
Obviously I'd rather have Timmy still here on Earth but I'm at peace knowing that I have an angel watching over me every day and making sure I get to see things like this. He continues to surprise me with wonderful things like this Afterglow sunset. |
I spend a lot of time listening to Sportsradio 1250 AM in Milwaukee and count the listening to the Big Show and the Brewers Post Game Show as some of my favorite activities. Since I spend so much time with them I hear about some of their sponsors like Robert's Specialty Meats in Waukesha. I had purchased some of their ribs on a stick before and it was one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. I knew this would be a big hit with the family so I brought some up here. It was easy to grill and was better than I could ever describe it. |
After dinner we played a rousing game of Scattergories and afterwards I needed to crash for a bit. I know I didn't mention it before but I had been drinking all day. I had to nap if I was going to rally this evening. You can't nap and rally if you don't nap. |
When Mom and Eddie got back from Memory Point we had a dinner with ribs, corn, mashed potatoes and mixed veggies waiting for them. We sat down at the table and had a lovely meal. Everything was perfect. I really needed this weekend. |
