Godsplash 6.0 - Page 5
I label the Godsplashes as different versions because every time we set up the slip n' slide, we add or change something. This version featured the speed bump. Ideally, the speed bump (me), would cause the rider to vault over said speed bump, flying through the air for a wild airborne run. But that didn't always work out, as can be seen in the picture of Tim falling off the inner tube to the right. Ouch.
.
Jake figured that since he's been at every public Godsplash event, he would have no problem overcoming the speed bump I set up. Needless to say, I stopped his run short, as he literally tasted the mud pit.
James saw Jake and Tim fail to overcome the massive speed bump, and thought he'd give it a try. Moments later, he too felt the raft separate from his personage and flew face first into the mud pit.
With every great achievement, there's nowhere left to go but up, so the 1 person speed bump became the 3 person speed bump. We arranged ourselves by size, going from Danny to Jake to Me. Tim got to be the lucky one to try the 3 man speed bump, and succeeded.
In the event of a disaster, as a child you are taught to put your head between your legs and kiss your butt goodbye. We were laying flat on the ground, and could only pray that we weren't torn to shreds as the raft carrying Tim passed over us. Madness. I wouldn't say it if it wasn't true.
