Afterglow 2009 - Day 4 Tuesday

Tonight was supposed to be a really good clear night to see all of the celestial bodies occupying outer space. Tim had borrowed Eddie's telescope and brought it up to the KK. We took turns looking at Mars and Uranus (Ok, the last one I made up. I just really wanted to say that.) But it was pretty cool to do that.

Come to think about it, sparklers, although considered the babies of the firework community, still are pretty dangerous. Those are pieces of fire spewing off of the end of those sticks, and these kids are pointing them at each other and laughing. I wish that I could be mad at them, but I funded this tirade of irresponsible behavior.

I brought up the random assortment of shitty fireworks that I had purchased up to the KK so that the kids could go nuts. For some reason, kids go apeshit over cheap fireworks as much as they do for expensive ones. That's fine with me, because then I save money funding entertainment for the kids to rage with on the KK.

I bought a bunch of Cuban cigars when I was in Canada and smuggled them across the border. I brought them back so that the Afterglow Gangstas could smoke them on the KK and look badass. It was a good time, and although they are highly illegal in the USA, no one, not even the Vilas County Sheriffs could stop us.
